The four core values of our

safety fundamentals are:

Competence: Only fully trained and insured crew members with the highest level of skill, knowledge, and experience are entrusted with safety-critical roles.

Redundant Backups: Participant safety is our top priority, therefore we take redundancy very seriously. Each component of our systems have a parallel backup system that is of equal or greater strength.

In the rare occurrence that the primary system were to encounter a failure, the redundant backup would seamlessly take over, ensuring the continued safety of our participants, equipment, and staff.

Independently Inspected Equipment: All equipment undergoes independent inspections to approve for safe use and ensure your safety to highest standard.

Informed Participation: We believe informed participation is essential; every participant in our activities receives comprehensive information about the activity they're about to undertake, and is required to read all important safety information upon registration.

UK Bungee Club - Pioneers Of Safety Standards

When commercial bungee jumping started gaining popularity, UK Bungee Club were initially part of the team responsible for developing the BERSA Code of Safe Practice.

The BERSA Code is a set of regulations and specifications for all equipment involved, qualifications of operators, procedures designed to alleviate human error, and controls designed to protect the participants.

UK Bungee Club conducts all of it's activities in accordance with these procedures, and over the last three decades, the UK Bungee Club have continued to work with the relevant authorities to improve safety practices across height-based activities.

Due-Diligence

  • All equipment is logged and serial numbered.

  • All equipment is independently tested and certificates are always available to view on site.

  • Each bungee rope has an individual log recording the total number of jumps and hours exposed to daylight.

  • All equipment is checked daily and signed off by at least two crew members on a checklist.

  • Health Warning Notices are required to be read by each participant before agreeing to take part.
