STEM Kart Hands-On Learning Experience for Schools

A Unique And Effective Way To Teach
STEM Subjects To Students

Using electric battery powered Go Karts, we provide a hands on learning approach towards secondary education for pupils across the UK, with a focus on KS3 & KS4.

STEM Kart has developed with initiative to bring STEM to life for students. Our aim is to engage and encourage young people to think about future careers in STEM.

What Is STEM Kart?

This is the first project of it's kind. Our Go-Karts are the perfect tool to engage young people in their education, allowing them to learn and have fun in a stimulating environment.

We provide schools with three prepared lessons. Lessons 1 and 3 take place in the classroom; lesson 2 is a practical experience in which students have an opportunity to drive the Go-Karts.

Purposefully Designed Lessons

Lesson 1 - The first lesson is conducted in the classroom and aims to develop and understanding of anthropometrics and ergonomics on products and vehicles. Ideally, this is completed one week prior to the practical day.

Lesson 2 - Our practical day involves the team bringing our inflatable track and electric Go-Karts into your school. During the session, students have the opportunity to ride the Karts, and complete the lesson two workbook.

Lesson 3 - This final lesson is completed in the classroom and expands on concepts introduced during the practical day. Learning material for lesson 3 focuses on aerodynamics and it's impact on products and vehicles. We recommend this lesson to take place one week after the practical day.
