Rewritten in 2024.

With the upcoming launch of the new iPhone 14 just around the corner, smartphone accessory brand Mous had been working on a protective case for the launch of the new model. Mous were looking for a unique way to demonstrate just how effective their phone cases were.

They reached out to our brand UK Bungee Club in search of a way to showcase that their accessory would be able to survive much more than just day-to-day drops. After brainstorming a few ideas, we decided that the best way to show off the capabilities of the case would be to throw a phone to the ground as someone performed a Bungee Jump from 160-feet!

Mous CEO and Co-Founder, James Griffith took part in the Bungee Jump at our Bray Lake location in Windsor. As he jumped, he was tasked with launching the smartphone 160ft towards the gravelled road below. Despite the phone making quite the thud as it hit the ground, the device and the Mous Limitless 5.0 case were recovered by our ground team completely unscathed!

As our full set-up was in place at Bray Lake, this was the perfect opportunity to experiment with another Mous product, the IntraLock Phone Mount System. With the main selling point of the system being how easily the phone can clip into the mount, it was time to put this to the test.

The Bungee crew set up a floating platform in the lake below, which was fitted with the IntraLock Mount. Phone in hand, one of our team jumped out and attempted to attach the phone to the mount below. After a few attempts, the phone was clipped in successfully!
