Watford Abseil Raises Over £8,000 for One YMCA!

We’re thrilled to have kicked off 2025 with our first event of the year! Our events calendar began with an exciting two-line abseil for One YMCA, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start.

Having previously participated in one of our multi-charity events in 2022, One YMCA were eager to host an independent challenge. This time, the event took place at their Watford building, offering a thrilling experience for participants and a fantastic fundraising opportunity for the charity.

Thanks to 35 brave participants, One YMCA has already raised an impressive £8,300 - and counting! A representative from the charity shared their enthusiasm: "From the thrill of the descent to the inspiring teamwork and support, it was a day to remember."

A Huge Success with Fantastic Feedback

Mary Hodgkinson, One YMCA’s Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator, praised the event: "There was great communication throughout the process with Big Bang, and they were very efficient in the lead-up to the event. The staff were friendly and made participants feel at ease."
