Soaring to New Heights: The First-Ever Zipwire Over Twickenham Pitch

We feel immensely proud of what we recently achieved during an incredible few days at Family Traveller Live, an immersive travel show held at the iconic Allianz Stadium in Twickenham. This extraordinary event, hosted in partnership with Sailawaze, welcomed over 10,000 visitors, and brought together more than 50 exhibitors and a range of interactive live activations. From rock climbing, ice hockey, and parkour to our awe-inspiring aerial experiences, this event catered to all ages and interests, and was hugely exciting to be a part of.

One of the standout highlights of the weekend was the debut of the zipline! For the first time ever, visitors had the unique opportunity to glide 680 feet across the legendary stadium, taking in breathtaking views as they soared above the pitch.

The response to this once-in-a-lifetime experience was overwhelming. Tickets for the zipwire over Twickenham sold out in record time, and our team at Big Bang Experiences successfully guided 300 participants over the two action-packed days. Our sponsor for this attraction was Royal Caribbean - a huge thank you for helping this vision become reality.

While some were soaring across the stadium, others took on the challenge of descending from it! On the opposite side of Allianz Stadium, over 200 brave participants tested their nerves in an 80-foot free abseil. Spectators watched as adventurers completed their abseil from the fifth level of the historic stadium.

This experience was made possible through the support of Experience Oman, who helped bring this unforgettable challenge to life. Their contribution allowed visitors to push their limits all while taking in a spectacular view from the top!

The success of Family Traveller Live marks a significant milestone for us. Working on an event of this scale was a great experience for our team - it was incredible to see everything come together after months of prepping and planning. Seeing the joy, excitement, and sense of accomplishment on the faces of all who participated made every effort worthwhile.
