Mous Google Pixel 10 Stunt: Catapult Launch Sends Phone 160ft in the Air
Launching the Google Pixel 10… Literally!
On 19th August, our UK Bungee Club and Big Bang Experiences teams had the pleasure of teaming up with Mous again, a fearless phone case brand famous for pushing boundaries with their guerrilla marketing stunts. From bungee jumps to hot air balloon drops, they’re known for taking things to a whole new level. And this time? They wanted something even wilder for the launch of the Google Pixel 10.
Enter: the catapult stunt.
At our Bedford bungee venue, Box End Park, Mous took their daring ideas sky-high, quite literally. A catapult (also known as a reverse bungee) launches participants from the ground into the air at stomach-lurching speeds. It’s not for the faint-hearted, and Mous’ CEO was brave enough to step up (many times!) for the ride.

The goal was bold but brilliantly simple:
Say the words “Google Pixel 10 in a Mous case!”
Get catapulted 160ft into the sky
Drop the phone at the very top
Easy, right? Not quite. While the launch itself was thrilling, the real challenge was predicting where the phone would land. With our crew in helmets, a carefully fenced-off zone, and bystanders kept at a safe distance, we were ready for every unpredictable drop and bounce.
The results were exactly what Mous promised. Despite the extreme heights, dramatic drops, and gasps from the crew, the phones landed intact. Videos of the stunt show the team gathering around each device, holding their breath before breaking into cheers as they removed the case to reveal a perfect outcome. Some screen protectors understandably didn’t survive the impact, but when they peeled away, they revealed perfectly scratch and crack-free glass beneath.
Proof once again: Mous don’t just claim to build tough cases. They launch them into the sky to prove it.
If you’re a brand looking to stretch limits and break moulds, get in touch - we love outside-the-box ideas like this, and Mous' Google Pixel 10 stunt was a perfect example.
