Over £20,000 Raised By McDonalds Group at Twickenham Zip Wire 2025!

Another brilliant update from October’s Zip Wire at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham has come in, and it’s a big one!

Colleagues from various McDonald’s franchises joined us for the Sunday of the Twickenham Zip Wire and raised an incredible £20,000. This fantastic total will be shared between Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends, and a number of smaller causes chosen by individual participants.

This latest update brings the overall fundraising total to over £51,000! We’re still waiting to hear back from a few more charities - if that includes you, we’d love to know how you got on!

With 47 enthusiastic fundraisers taking on the 680ft zip across the pitch, the adrenaline rush and stadium views proved to be a huge hit. Participants described the experience as “a unique opportunity to see Twickenham in a different light,” and shared some brilliant feedback about the day.

The funds raised will support a mix of vital projects, including family support services at RMHC, equipment upgrades at Bedford Hospital Charity, and personalised donations to the participants’ selected causes.
