We’re delighted to share the fundraising totals from another group of brave participants at The Big Bang Abseil Dublin – St. Michael’s House Foundation, who took on the challenge on Sunday, 31st May 2025.
Taking place at The Smithfield Generator, Dublin, participants abseiled an impressive 190 feet to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation. Across 20 fantastic fundraisers (including an abseiling tiger!), St. Michael’s House Foundation raised just over €20,000 – an incredible achievement!
These funds will directly support a wide range of services and projects that enable people of all abilities to live the life of their choosing. The Foundation plays a vital role in building awareness and raising funds to support the work of St. Michael’s House, helping individuals with disabilities to identify their needs and goals, and to achieve greater independence, inclusion, and quality of life.

Jonathan Power, CEO of St. Michael’s House Foundation, praised the experience, saying:
“I have only positive things to say about the team on the ground on the day. Excellent as always, great help, couldn’t be nicer to our participants. The event on the day was very smooth - couldn’t have been better.”
We're pleased to have supported this important fundraising effort and want to thank everyone involved. The commitment shown by the St. Michael’s House community will play a key role in the support of the Foundation.
